About Susan and John

| Susan, an honors graduate of the University of Tennessee, designed her own inter-disciplinary major in Environmental Design. She has helped her clients with a variety of space-planning projects — from a municipal building to the produce section of a gourmet food store. Her primary focus has been working with people to shape their residential environments to suit their personal lifestyle. Susan has been a kitchen design specialist for the past 15 years and occasionally designs large-scale remodels and new homes as well. She loves to garden, bake bread in her AGA stove, read great books, and share a cup of tea with her friends. | ||
| John graduated with honors from the School of Design at North Carolina State University in 1981. Since then, he has been involved in the design/build field. His woodworking projects have ranged the gamut from hand-carved signs to post-and-beam homes. For the past fifteen years, John has focused on cabinetry and furniture design and construction. In his spare time, John can be found working on his old house, practicing his short game on the golf course, or chasing his dog Truman. | ||
